View Full Version : really low poly weapon
Tukata 07-06-2004, 02:32 AM Hey made this awhile ago. It's 461 faces in this configuration. Had to keep it low because there will be an option for attachments and dual weapons. Let me know what you think.

nice job i like the blade-like cannon i dunno why but i found it look like those huge army knife .
the texture is a bit blurry but it no big deal
what the size of the map?? 512?

yeah it's a 512 I can actually run a sharpen filter on it to see if that solidifies it a little more.
Hey, try this (because I wanna see if it works out well...)
Go to a side view of the weapon, and render out a normal map, and a diffuse map. Then save an alpha channel with each render.
Now make a flat plane the size of your render, and put the textures on it, with the alpha transparency. I want to see if it looks just the same, but with only two triangles.
