Hello everyone,
I was wondering, is it possible to "chamfer" an edge in maya, the way you could do it in 3d Max? In Max, "chamfer" takes the edge (selected by the user) and extrudes 2 more edges on that face away from the edge selected, this is generally used to create sharper edges on a model.
I found that there is "bevel" in maya, but it doesn't work for me at all (not on the selected edges at least), for it to work I have to apply it to entire model.
So, is there any way I can chamfer an adge (make edges sharper after/before the smooth modifier has been applied)?
THanks
