hmm not sure why i didnt post that...

well i get an error when i try to install that

Did you install max then reactor, if you did that is the problem.
Max 4.2 already have reactor and character studio in it. All you have to do is to input the serial # , the cd key code and the auth.

There are many way to run reactor.

1. You can have a reactor scheme. Just go under the customize menu, load custome ui scheme and select the reactor scheme you like.

2. Reactor is under the create-helper( under the roll down menu)

well it wasnt under helpers and there was no ui for reactor

many utilities are avialbe from UTILITY PANEL. Chose MORE. Select Reactor. there may be a PDF reactor file in help folder of max

With R4, you still needed to buy a license tu be able to use it... with R5, it's included in the base package ;)

1. Is where you find all the reactor tools.

2. Under Utility, click on More then you will see reactor.

When you install update to 4.2 you should check the checkboxes (you can install just reactor):

hmm well thats probobly the problem but sadly when i try to install it unzips then does nothing

Come on... Then rigt-click and go to winzip > extract to folder whateverthenameis, and click on setup.exe. Or call discreet for tech support :)

well thats not exactly what i ment but a restart fixed it... I apreciate it guys
