THat V on the forehead seems out of place.. what is it supposed to be anyway?
the shading around it makes it look like its popping out.. if its a scar I think the shading around it isn't necessary. Other then that it kicks royal ass!.. and now i go check your website..

on his site there are wires of this model and the v is raised out of the head, so I guess its supposed to look like that :)
It's VLAD! Run for your lives!
BoBo, I've always liked your exaggerated proportions. This is a more standard, western European look and it still looks good. For your other stuff, with exaggerated proportions, have you ever thought about using ZBrush? Eventually, you'll have to shift to ZBrush for normal mapping purposes, so now is as best of a time as any to do it... It would work well especially for your non humanoid work.
Good job. I can't wait to see the rest of it.

Awesome as usual man..... Love the detail you've put in. Will this be a full character or just the head?
You site looks way better. Love the logo placement
He's got the full character done, but the texturing so far is the head, as far as I know.
You can see the rest of the character on his site. It's an excellent candidate for a normal map, especially in his armor.

By the way: Great to see you posting some more work here at CGTalk BoBo... :bounce: It's cool to see the moderators getting more involved when they have time :D

Dude, I mean DUDE! this rocks. I am totally into realism in my models (mesh, rig and textures) So I have to say this just rocks. It makes me very happy to know that you are or at least have worked in the industry, because i have seen to many talented people not makeing it in our field. This just gives me hope again. So once more this head and your previous work is truly inspiring!
keep showing us more when you can
