View Full Version : Creating a wall w/ reactor
decypher 07-01-2004, 05:29 AM Hey,
I'm trying to make a wall made out of a sand-like substance, and throw a ball at, (potentially through), it. Having a bit of trouble starting out - would I just use fracture or a combination of that and pflow? Are there any scripts which could set this up a little easier?

whoo... explain sand-like substance? like a light porus material or individual grains of sand? pflow "would" work - in theory, but you're talking about millions of particles. there's some good fracture ref in the pflow thread in resources, and there's rumors of some impressive fracture operators on their way:

reactor's fracture works well, but can be pretty intensive, especially with lots of individual pieces. depending on what you're trying to do, a combination of the two could work. hope that helps some...
