Wow!
I think ive seen some of miroart's designs before - i love his style - did he do the reference image?
As for the 3d side - no crits at all - excellent design, excellent model - and probably an excellent texture to come!

Get crackin!

dude! thats a cool design and all but the model is really sweet. I have to say though, that the topolgy of the model might create some problems around the mid-section when animating.

cant wait to see more

He's got a point there - saying that, the elbows and knees could also use some more loops so that itll bend better. If you can spend all those polys on the tits, then a few extra on the deformable areas would be ok.

going well there m8, very good concept and model. Meshflow is nice.

She still seems to have wider and much more rounder face on the concept and I think you should go for it. At the moment she looks like she has sucked on something (hehe :D) and hasnt really stopped doing it yet.
You canse save some faces on the boot if you delet that stupid middle vertex on the bunnyeyes, connect the faces normally and make it still look round.

Keep it up, like the fat forearms :)

Very nice and stylish stuff.
Will we get the chance to see her in action? (some game or mod?)
...by the way...i think sometimes, even on lowPoly stuff, it's good to have some tesselation on flat faces. It gives some nicer shading if there is dynamic lightning.

Great work :applause:

LeeSalo: cheers for pointing out topolgy, i'll have a look into it!

Andy H: i'll put more loops in! just noticed that the robo leg needs more polys at back so will bend better..? .... still new to this... >_<;;;

Blackhorse: cheers! MIROART is just unbelievabley talented at character design!

Grorum: yeah this is my first colab! and i'm loving it! you should do it!!

Miguelito: cheers! i love the asymmetry too! i found the modelling very challenging!

CG_Gorden: i can't wait to see it finished too!!!

Prs-Phil: yeah i agree with you on face and bunny shoe eyes, will sort it oot! or let MIROART sort it out seeing as it's in his hands now! hehehe!!! cheers!

florian: thinking of doing a simple walk cycle at the moment. still early days!

r3studios: it think it'd look cool in a game too!!

very cool. saw the concept for this somewhere else & thought it'd look cool as a game model. the model looks great! my only thing is you have some weird sort of 'fan' poly flows (all converging to one point, usually on a circular surface) & apparently that can lead to some weird stuff sometimes but that's really easy to fix.

LOVE this piece! The concept especially. The model is great too and true to the design, some minor critiques.

Her right thigh and left forearm looks too cylindrical, I would add at least 1 or 2 subdivisions and work in some definition to add some detail and make her look like she has more volume. As mentioned if you can pump that many polys into the breast, you should be able to spread that detail out on the rest of the model.

Also with the breasts, even though they are quite round in the design, they are PERFECT spheres on the model, giving them a bit more of a tear drop shape and sloping off the chest, once again might give the character a better sense of volume.

Fantastic work though, can't wait to see this one finished!

I like the bunny, the robot arm and the proportions. I like the shoulder pad, it is very well done (imo).
I would use less polys but that´s because my computer sux and i'm always in favour of oldschoolness.

Is her arm robotic or she is just wearing a robot arm.. and a robot leg. I mean did she lose her arm, or replaced it with a full robotic arm.

I have a question will you use bump mapping on her?

Hey where'd her little top go? She wears a tiny piece of.. pseudo-clothing in the reference image that I can't see in the geometry. Maybe you're planning on texturing that? There's a little curl at the bottom of the cloth (right above her breasts) that I think will be tricky to fake...

She looks totally cute though, it's a marvelous piece of sarcastic portrayel of the archtypical female. That her breasts appear to be perfect spheres even help in this case I think, because the model (imo) has less to do with realism and more to do with exaggerated proportions and features.

Those shoes are *ridiculous*, but in a good and strange way :)

thanks for your comments!!!

Bustasnipez: thanks for your 5 star rating man! *^_^* will at least do a walk cycle, see how it goes!

Dogzer: yeah it's pretty sweet at the moment!!!

ill_logic: yeah MIROART has his work scattered around the place, so you prob would have seen it somewhere else. what do you mean by weird fan flow stuff!?? do you mean the boobs!? and what kinda wierd stuff!!? tell me cos i wanna know!!! i wanna learn! ^_^

imscifi: yeah she is cute! those bunny cross bones would look mint as stickers!!

dudeguy: yeah her thigh is lower in polygons, originally she did have a few more polys to give her more definition but i got rid of them cos i thought it was too subtle looking so hopefully the texture will flesh it out a little more! her arm could prob do with a poly here and there. i kinda like her fake boobs really round, i think it fits the style for the concept, with the exagged proportions and stuff.

hanzo: yeah the toony boobs do rock! haha!! no updates from me i'm afraid.. it's in MIROART's hands now.. he still gotta map... (i hate mapping!) >_<;;;;; i reckon he will too!!! hey your jedah design is looking sweet!!!! he's like one of my fav characters in vampire saviour on the sega saturn!

Dogzer: haha cheers! the bunny is cute!!! *^_^* and your robot question.... from the horses mouth... (MIROART- "oh shes all robot!!!! hahaha, shes a toy") and there will be bump mapping involved! yep!

gaggle: yeah i did think about modelling the lines for the top, but i reckon it'll look ok once it's textured up! the propportions are greatly exaggerated, all the more challenging to model i think! i like the wierd look too! it's cute and fun!

At 4.7 k polys I imagined a modeled clothing-terminator would look pretty neat. Eh well, just imo, whatever ends up happening I'm certainly looking forward to seeing her textured. She'ssocute! :)

Another comment: unless you tesselate those bunnyears they won't be able to bend. They seem to do that in the little 2d-rendered view on the reference image..

incredible collab, caution and Miro!
its such a great translation from the drawing to 3d model, and poly count you have on this model is simply perfect, demonstrating your abilty to model for games.
good job kids! tequila for both of you, dont tell your mom i got you all drunk!

it could get annoying animating her walk/run cycle with those belt straps hanging down like that.
How do you plan on approaching that?

Slythis: awww cheers! yeah should be sweet when finished, i can't wait for MIRO to make it look like the concept! and future projects?........ ¬_¬; many in pipeline at the moment! so keep a look out!! *goes back to her plans of WORLD DOMINATION!*... muhahahahha!!!

Neil: to be honest... i have nooooooooo idea! will have to solve that one when problem arises! hehe.. all good though.. learn from mistakes etc.. :D

Stratboy531: cheers! its not by any means perfect but it will do for time being :D
