for some reason some of my files in my project wont render anymore... i'm on a g5 running osx 10.3.4, with maya 5. and when i either batch render or just plain view render after a short while i get an unexplained crash...
it appears to be when maya tries to finish writing the .ma file before a render... when the bug report window pops up and i hit quit, maya stays open doesn't show up as hung in the activity monitor, but does not respond.
i've tried importing the scene file into a new scene but that does nothing.
Any one know what the deal could be?
and anyway to fix this?
