Here's that environment I was talking about. The one for the aimation test of the Assassin. I think it's finished although, after some crits I am sure it'll move back to a WIP. He He. Anyway.
Here it is. Sorta Japanese/Sci Fi theme, there's this big walkway that connects them all, the Domeciles that is, that's why it's sorta floating in water. I'm sure that DOESN'T make sense. *grin*

Anyway, here's some pics of the Domecile.

I think it's nice ... But I notice that there is like 2 moons in the first pic. One crescent moon and the other is like an eclipse ... what was that?

wow :)

That's insane (in a good way), love the ambience, almost a palpable feeling of foreboding, like something bad's gonna happen.

Reminds me a bit of Blade Runner, and Coruscant (one of the few bright spots in Episode2). Is that walkway a retractable drawbridge-type thing?

I'm V much a newb so I don't feel qualified to comment on the actual mechanics of the image. I do however find the material you used around the door and for the pipes (metal?) a bit uniform. Don't know if much detail would reveal itself in this lighting anyway, but perhaps the glow from the neon to the left could pick up some of the details. No doubt the building's been lashed by storms etc, which would result in some weathering etc on the metalwork. Also I love your water, but is the swell not a bit large given that the houses are floating as opposed to some sort of pontoon setup?

I'd love to see some rain here, but that's just the Blade Runner geek coming thru.

As for the moons, love it....reminds me of some of the cover art on a Robert Silverberg novel.

Amazing image.:bounce:

Thanks for the feedback......

Nightwing: I LOVE BLADERUNNER, like my favourite SciFi movie.
Anyway, I do want to add rain, I actually started working
on it and then had to put it aside. DEFINATELY would be
cool and will see what I can do. "
..... like tears in the rain." :buttrock:

As for the swell, well the buildings aren't actually floating,
they're on huge pillars, and the bridge is like a drawbridge thingy
it retracts when not needed, like a security thing.

The metal is a bit uniform I agree, kinda rushed the texturing.
Had to though. Here's another angle, not really a GREAT angle
but shows a little more, some of the detail and my little bonsai
tree, he he. But you can see the texture on the pipes and does
need work I guess...... :surprised

Anyway, thanks for the feedback.

As always a beautiful image. I think you can add more fogs and rain to that. Go on. wanna see the final result.:D

The lighting is beautiful. The best part. I must confess, I'm still not over "Blade Runner".
"Questions," "PoliceMAN".............
