Hello, guys!
here is test scene for maya 6, renderer mental ray. I can't receive in scene reflections :(( but all objects are checked as visible in reflections, raytracing is on in mental ray render globals. All objects have one material blinn with reflectivity 1 and reflected color white. I can't find what else i need to get bright reflections.

Hi shserge!

The problem is that your Specular Color is black. For Blinn and Phong shaders you need to have specularity for reflections to work. If you want reflection, but no fake specular highlight, I usually use the PhongE shader. It lets you set the Highlight Size to 0 to turn off the fake highlight while still giving you specular reflection.

Hehe, and don't forget to turn your reflectivity down from 1000!!
