View Full Version : Robo progress
matty2x4 07-24-2002, 10:20 PM At long last I have finished the guns.
I think the worst thing about the web page is seeing how fast some people build there 3-D work. Its taking me forever to get this flippin robot off the ground. Am tring some walk cycles at the mo.... with varied sucess... more later

What a little cutie... :D
lot's of work here for sure... :D
Very impressive!
The joints connecting the body to the arms and legs somehow look rather weak (as in too thin) to me..
That was the only suggestion for improvement I could think of!
Wish I could some day reach that level, I'm only just starting my new 3D hobby!

I am planning to animate it eventually... I wont be showing it that close and it will be in dark and smokey conditions, if all goes well.
I have added spec and bmp maps you can see them on the green barrel and the rusty plate and the part the bullets slide along. The rest of the gun is still w.i.p. Have I made them to subtle? I will do a few more renders from a few other angles asap.
thanks
