I'm trying to subd this.. The first attached image is poly cleanup selection for non-manifold geometry.. I can't figure out why it selects these vertices... after cleanup (following image) i get all these border edges.. and even after manually trying to merge edge .. .doesn't get all of them... then i tryed to manually go in and merge all vertices... it does get rid of the border edges.. but then when i go to sudb it states that there is nm geometry. and of course when i go to cleanup again.. i get the same thing as image 2. Any suggestions, other than lightening up my model, i know its huge.. that's the next thing. thanks for your time.

i've emailed to see why it doesn't show up... it's probably because it's my first image or something... I hope to get it, although in this time i have found a solution, but i do have other questions thanks again.

So what is going on? Why can't I post a 40kb image of my problem? Can anyone help me? Should I just be more patient with contacting Highend staff? Of course I should be, but is there something I'm missing... I'm just trying to attach a small image to explain my problem. It's almost impossible to explain without it.

I'd say you should make sure your normals are pointing all in the right direction

How do you do that?

First, to show the normals, go to Display -> Polygon components -> Normals, to actually see the normals, then, if you can clearly see that some of the normals are pointing to the wrong direction, select the whole mesh, then go to Edit polygons -> Normals -> Conform and all is fine again! Yay!

now that are good news

don't care that it's a beta, free things are always good :)
