"amigos" i'm having a very weird problem with max...

When i create any mesh object it comes with "edges" inside then, and if i create a spline and then convert it to a mesh, it comes all messed up with edges inside it, making impossible to extrude it to a 3d shape!

One thing that i noticed is that if i convert the mesh to a poly or add a meshsmooth to it the edges disapear...

I already reinstalled max but the problem persist...
Any thoughts on this...

Thankx all...!

okay, i'm not really sure what you're talking about. could you post a screen grab of your scene, and mod stack?

looks like a problem with the configuration of your display drivers, Mine have a setting for 'triangle strips' which makes the display look like that...

Thanks Chris i might check that up...

But tell me does it happens the same when you extrude a flat mesh surface?
If i do that here the mesh comes up all messed up because the edges inside it, like on the pic on the circle exemple...!

Thankx
