Hi all. I just thought i'd share with you the project i finished a couple of weeks ago.
Its a 2minute short film experience, modelled and animated in Maya. The renders were then post processed in Shake. In short, the plot is about a character named Dimp, who has the ability to talk. He is being pursued by a gang of ninjas, lead by Onibedu, the Bead Master.

Stills 1 (http://www.certaindoompossibly.com/1.jpg) and 2 (http://www.certaindoompossibly.com/2.jpg)

there are two versions - the recommend one at PAL res(15Mb, divx):
www.certaindoompossibly.com/majordivx.avi (http://www.certaindoompossibly.com/majordivx.avi)

and one at a smaller 320x240 res(8Mb, also divx):
www.certaindoompossibly.com/divxsmall.avi (http://www.certaindoompossibly.com/divxsmall.avi)

I never intended to focus on one thing in particular (eg, animation or modelling) - I just wanted to create an overall piece. Well, let me know what you think!
Thanks!

This one is :bounce: -boeh!

I like the hole ani, but not:
the voices: they are a little bit... how do you say... they don't fit
the speach-bubbles: they are very fast. but perhaps i can't enough english to read them this fast... :banghead:

thanks for replying. Yeah I do see what you mean about the voice - I couldn't really find one that suited the character...so i ended up doing it myself and tweaking the pitch with a sound-package.

sorry about the subtitles being fast, perhaps i should put together other versions with different languages!

I found it very original !
i like the mood, and even if some dynamics of characters are strange, the overall is very impressive ! And funny :)
Keep it up! i want to see the next episodes !!!
