Hey, that's very interesting. The image looks ugly but I found myself staring at it for quite sometime before posting this reply. Very interesting piece of work.

Thank you, it is my first attempt at a eyeless (for the time being) head that is expressing emotion, but without the telltale hints that the eye can give to the viewer. I think that is why it lingers for a moment, the mind expects to see eyes when it appears one is staring right at you. But in this image, there is no eyes.

I hope that explains some the image somewhat.
