View Full Version : First Low Poly Character - Critiques Appreciated
Tukata 06-25-2004, 04:44 AM Hey everyone, this is my first low poly character model. I'm happy with how he came out but realize there is much room for improvement. I'd love it if you could tell me the good and bad points in your opinion, what I did right and what I could improve. Many thanks!

the model looks great. but is it supposed to be cartoonish?
the texture is not realistic. maybe thats what you are trying to achive.

Thanks Alex, I'm very new to texture so I am still working my way towards ultra realism. This is my first low poly character and character texture. Dont worry though I'll be working very hard to refine my skills, I'm currently finishing up my next concept and I'll begin the fun part soon =) And yes it's supposed to be for a game so I supposed it's supposed to be a bit cartoony. You dont see much game art on cgtalk but I think it's just as valid a genre
