Data Resources Manager
Animal Logic is seeking a detail-oriented professional with 2 – 4 years prior experience in large-scale data management. Responsible for setting and monitoring process guidelines for asset management, forecasting, and archiving. Strong communication skills will be an advantage. Knowledge of digital film or television production would be helpful, but not essential. Applicants should enjoy working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Key responsibilities include:
Ø Manage digital resources, both online and offline.
Ø Determine and manage categories for asset management.
Ø Inform crew of new processes for data management, and providing guidelines for usage.
Ø Monitor disk space usage daily and liaise with all departments to allocate data resources within a project.
Ø Flow of data on and off system.
Ø Work with supervisors and production management to provide forecasts, and to target and appropriately archive unnecessary data.
