HI,

I just want to know how to create a very simple Text Effect in AE

It is usually used

It looks like a moving light source behind the Text, like the movie name or company, and bunches of light coming through the Text and the light change the angle with the moving of the "imagined" light source behind the text.

Look like this,

But without reflection of the text. And the light will change , like the light source is moving behind it.

Hi there, Have you checked out Trapcode Shine?

you could probably use 2 layers of the text...the foreground text layer being black and the background being the text to which shine has been applied. As for the shadows, you'll have to apply a shadow and place it in perspective. If you dont have Shine, there's the old Final Effects Light rays plugin. There are other methods like using 3D lights and 3D layers but the above solution might prove to be faster.
