I am looking to change my avatar. I had a custom avatar loaded. I went to edit it and the only thing I saw was to remove it. Thinking I had to remove it before I could put up another one I did just that. Now I can't seem to replace it with a new one there is nothing under "Edit Avatar" nor "Edit Options" (as stated in the post above) that will allow me to do it. After reading the post at the top here it says you need at least 20 posts before you are allowed to do this. I am now over that that post count. Anyone have any ideas what I may be missing? Is there a new post count before posting custom avatars? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Ah it's 30 posts now, and you get attachments with that too. So just go reply to a few more threads and the upload option will magically appear.

When you hit 30 posts, it takes an hour to update the system to promote you to the next usergroup.

Hi Leo

Can you tell me what the limits are for custom user text and avatars, since i think you changed them and i never knew anyway, what i think at the moment

Avatar -- 30 Posts + 1 month full membership
Custom user text -- 20 posts + 1 months yada

Mod check post is first 5.

Are these right?

Here's what I get. The problem is really coming from you: maybe it has something to do with your OSX?

ambient-whisper - Can you deselect the "Do not use an avatar"? What happens when you Reset Fields?

reset field doesnt seem to do anything at all in my case. i pressed it on multiple occasions.

i actually didnt even have avatar fields even when i had an avatar. but i thought with the new forum you had to delete an avatar first to get the entry to choose one. but it wont let me.

Martin, seems like i can't change my avater either.
I only have the option to 'not use an avatar'

no way I get all teh options Stillwell shows.

Could it be it has something to do with us being mods ?

cause I don't have the option to use a custom profile picture either such as Leo has in his profile

So it seems like this is a mod problem. You guys can fix everything; can you fix this?

:)

This is weird guys. Email me your avatars and I'll try uploading them from the main control panel. . .

This won't fix their problem, though.

Poppy, we allready tried that. No go.

we need to have our profiles checked to see if it's something there.
we need a Profiler.

any chance Rob M. knows what's going on ? or perhaps Leo ?

I have enough posts for an avatar, but I can't figure out how to upload it, I went to my avatar page but it has no options for using my own, what's going on?
