The Upper Storey is looking for a experienced 2D/3D Artist for current and upcoming projects. We have an opening for a full time 2D/3D Artist. This position is for some upcoming Web3D (Cult3D) and product marketing animation projects.
We are particularly interested in a well-rounded 2D/3D Artist with a good artistic sense. Also, he/she must be willing to:
Accept directions,
Work well under pressure,
Handle multiple tasks,
Flexible and open to changes,
Have strong communication and interpersonal skills,
And a team player.
The Artist will be working in different kinds of medium, i.e. web, video, film, and is expected to be involved in all levels of production (conceptualizing, storyboarding, character/set design, modeling, animation, dynamics, texturing, rendering, etc). He/She will be assisting the Senior 2D/3D artist, or alone, create animations for the Interactive Department or clients.
The 2D/3D Artist is required to have at least 1-2 years of professional industry experience and possesses an exceptional demo reel.
The applicant must have at least an intermediate knowledge:
· 3D Software of either
o Alias Maya (preferred)
o 3ds Max
o Softimage
· 2D compositing/image manipulation software
o Adobe After Effects
o Adobe Photoshop
Training will be provided for the selected applicant if he/she do not have working knowledge of Maya.
This position will be in Singapore. Singaporeans or PRs will be preferred as we will need to fill this position quite urgently. Relocation or living/accommodation cost will not be borne by the company. Accepted foreign applicants will be required to settle their own living arrangements.
