View Full Version : Struzan inspired Spider-Man 2 poster
Before you guys jump to conclusions...no I didn't copy the final Spider-Man 2 poster. That's TOTALLY a coincidence. I was working on this and my bro was like "why you gotta bite off Sony?" and I'm thinking..."WTF mate!" Then he showed me the poster and I was like...."that sux....." lol
...Peter Parker's loosely based on Tobey Maguire and MJ isn't based on Kirsten Dunst because I'm not too fond of her. I wasn't particularly trying to make the characters look like the actors...just remeniscant of them instead.

Good work, I really like your version of MJ. Any references used to create her?

I like your MJ better too, and Harry is spot-on!! The green/black sillouette of Octopus really works.

Thanks for the comments guys!

rendering is nice ..... but the balance is off on the three figure up top .....and the bottom building silouettes and the handling of doc ock seems not to fit with rest....( dock seems rushed and just filled not purposfully placed)

I see what you're saying about the 3 faces being off balance. Doc wasn't rushed too much...I actually wanted him to be a silouhette. I don't know if there's anyway to make silouhettes look detailed...so I just kept it fairly simple. But I DO see what you're saying about the NYC skyline and Doc not fitting in with the rest. I'm not much of a graphic designer so I really don't know if layouts look bad until someone points them out to me...so thanks for that.

I think Charlize Theron would make an awesome Mary Jane.
Maybe in a movie where the characters are 30 something, but in the current Spidey films...they're in college.

True, but she's just so beautiful.
