CGTalk - scrambled screen

Hi. Remember the tv series Cops where the suspects had their faces scrambled. How would you go to achieve such an effect in AE. I was thinking using pixelisation with a mask and animate the mask while the subject move. Anyone with a better idea or a technique ?

nope. you've pretty much hit the nail on the head with that one. its not the most complex of things to lose sleep over it!
