I'd like to know what is the industry standard (in VFX) in terms of display screen for Color Grading (E.g Discreet Lustre), what is the best brand etc... I've seen in making offs, people working with SGI screen , why are they used ...
Is the Mitsubishi 93sb monitor any good?

Thanks for your time, feel free to enlight me on the matter...

i use a sony 24" crt. if you're doing 2d compositing crt's are better than flat panels. (the apple flat panels are cool BUT their about 80% color correct)

If you're going for dual monitor i might suggest 1 LCD and 1 CRT setup. I do this...use the LCD for the bulk of the work (easier on the eyes) and then drag it over to the CRT when color correcting or to do final checks.
