I'm doing a sketch for my current job. If it's accepted Marketing will put it on mousepads for the company with a list of customer service reminder tips. the cartoon should represent the ideal company engineer.

i haven't done much sketching lately and I do very little cartoon style, so I could use some critique/feedback before I take it into Photoshop for color tomorrow.

Thanks ahead of time.

You have improved much of the image that was incorrect. Before the legs weren't in any human form, but now the legs actually look like he's walking forward. Good use of hiding the leg behind the briefcase to make it look like he's walking in the door. He looked a little tall before, but now he's got better average human proportions

Critiques:

banana hammock - his package is huge and very elongated, those are some really tight jeans ! it seems to me that the focus of the drawing is the crotch.. yowzaa!!!

foreshortened arm - his hand looks out of proportion, either widen the forearm or make the hand smaller. The length of the arm is good, but it stays the same width, so it look as if his hand is abnormally big

back of right knee - the arcs that merge into the back of this knee are incorrect, and the front of the knee for that matter

Increase the focus towards the company's name. Another logo on his briefcase, or increase the size of his nametag logo etc.

His facial expression. i know it's difficult to have an illustrative style and still produce wanted feelings and expressions, but now he looks like he's being forced to come to the door. very happy!, but fake, surprised happy. My suggestion is a feeling of confidence and pride.. good luck!!

try to think of a dramatic pose for both him and his props. the cables that he carries don't have to be perfect, and can draw focus towards the company's name on his shirt for instance. You've had a great start, and have improved the image. Keep It Up!!!

so those are my suggestions for the overall experience, sorry i don't have many precise drawing suggestions, not the greatest drawing aritist myself.. :)

Good iconic feel and nice clean illustrative style

That's the most effort this pics going to get from me on the sketch part. Time to go to color.
