I'm doing a sequence of animation for a broadcast commercial of a lotion product. I'm having problem with the sequence of removing old layers of skin(flakes).

I'm currently using a PARRAY particle system with a WIND force.

The problem I have now, is that I need to create uneven segments and I thought if I apply a texture/opacity map I could manage to fake it. But now as result, when I apply a map unto the skin(plane), the mapping and texture dissapear when the particles go in air. Is there a way around this? Or perhaps another way someone can advise me to take?

here's a test render of what I mean.

found a tediouis solution, by animating each flakes by using paths, rotation etc, but I have more control over it.
In all in all we're in this cause we love 3D, and some process are tedious but are worthed in the end.

cheers,
