View Full Version : Can i use the alpha of another layer on another layer?
Levitateme 06-18-2004, 02:06 PM I have a rendered particle image from maya, and its pure white. so adjusting the colors does not really do anythign. so i figured if i could make a new layer with a color i like , somehow i could use the alpha of my particle layer on that so i could have new colored layer...anyone know how?

put 2nd layer on top of 1st layer--> click 'trackmatte' button in tiimeline on 1st layer, choose 1 of 2 'alpha' options.
F1 search for 'trackmatte' for further information.
