Hi everybody!

After seeing some great Lego models here recently (Pupii's outstanding Brick Patrol (http://www.cgtalk.com/showthread.php?s=&threadid=147531) for example) i had to do my own movie to lego conversion :)

hope you like it!

as always - comments welcome!

awsome, i love this. i love kill bill, i grew up with legos so it only seems natural that putting them together would be an inevitability. leeds me to wounder what other godsend combinations there could be out there. maybe erector sets and the matrix, or linkin logs and fight club. not sure how that would work but it would be cool. it has to be.

anyway, i would have to say my only complaint is the glow on her hair. its a little bright, but then again terintino did use that glare effect a lot in the movie. anyway...

wow..very col and original...very cool lighting too.
I especially like the way you did the blood

I only spotted one thing...the cutted off ehad has no hole in it...lego heads have holls in them to click them on the neck..
minor crit, must be fixed in a minute

very cool work!

excellent!

the yellow is a bit strong overall, but i like the idea, and it almost makes you want to see a kill bill lego set (however improbable that would be)

"you may take your lives with you. But your bricks belong to me!"

Thank you all for your nice comments!

With the glow and high contrast i was trying to use some of the elements tarantino uses throughout the movie.. heh maybe a little bit too much glow tough :D

@da_rock21: yes there are some more themes that could be cool additions to the ever growing lego universe.. so go go go! model one!

@Dreamwave: Thanks! The Starwars BrickPatrol that inspired me was done by Pupii (see my first post for a link to his thread!)

@JulianHo: I was thinking about doing the Go Go Scene fist, but i thought the Crazy 88 would be more fun

@Andy H: Would be kinda scary to see "18+" Lego boxes sold in a back room of your favourite toy store :D

Here's a wireframe for y'all! (BTW: 1.6M polys)
