Hello everybody :-)
First time poster and I already have a question...
I'm trying to create some good looking hair for a woman's head by using a lot of subdiv-grids (Fur didn't work in this case, mainly because the hair is quite long)
For the shading I tried to use the anisotropic one but it seems to be broken on any poly- and subdiv mesh while it works fine on nurbs. The meshes have an uv-texture but it still doesn't work. I'm using mainly XSI 2.02 but the same problem occurs in the orlean beta, too.
Is this a bug or am I doing something wrong ???
Does anyone know a solution for this, probably even some way to fake the anisotropic highlights?
Thanks in advance for any suggestions
