great work guys, really insane.

I have no idea what they are promoting, but the fact that two kids are jsut walking by and a fat man breaks out into disco dance is more than enough for me.

oops, sorry bout not informing you, what this is about...

SATURN is an electronics warehouse, which is pretty big in Germany, Austria and (I guess) Switzerland, too.

It is a follow up spot of a commercial we did late last year. You can check that out on our website, too, if you like ( click - > our work).

Greetings, thanks.

Eieieieiei, it's raining orchids... :)

This time, Animation Master worked out better that ever before. To be honest, I can't remember any 'real' problems working on the Trucker II job. I guess any other package probably would have caused more stress. Hm.. mayby that's bullshit, anyway, it all worked very well this time, one month and it was finished.

Thanks again dudes, greetings.

Wow! When I saw the Chicken Race animation you guys did a while back, I was so blown away I decided to upgrade from version 7 to version 10 after not looking at AM for a few years.
Another great animation!
I saw the 3D World article on you guys a while back and enjoyed it, but wished it had gone into more detail.
Out of curiousity, what kind of character rigs do you use? Do you still do some background stuff in Lightwave?
How did you get so insanely good at AM?:applause:

We use Anzovins setup machine, but always customized for our personal use, of course. (Willi and Jo are absolute specialists in that field).

No, Lightwave hasn't been used in this one.

A:M was our choice years ago, and we're used to it. I think it doesn't really matter. thanks for the applause :)

same here i have no idea what its about but i like the animations.

"Geiz ist geil" -Geiz: stinginess - geil: def
Stinginess is def. or
Stinginess rocks.
It shall tell that the prices at SATURN Electronics Warehouse are really low.
And all that the lyrics contain are phrases that end on 'geil'. Like 'anniversary is geil (Saturn just celebrates 10th anniversary in austria), party is geil, saturn is geil.
Not our idea, but i think it's pretty funny.

I liked it, but there is one thing that really bothered me. The mocap. B4 anyone starts yelling followed by slamming your head in and out of your screen in full on rage, let me explain:

Mocap has it's place. And it is loved in that aspect. Star Wars, FF Spirits, whatever.

But on a character such as this guy, i find it's a total waste. I won't go breaking down each shot, but one thing's for sure, you could have pulled off much better poses, and much more striking animation if you weren't limited by mocap. In the end, the budget should come out cheaper if you use a speedy, experienced animator.

Hi Emilio!

Sorry, there was no motion Capture used in this one.

I agree with you that some of the poses could have been more exaggerated, but (as usual in a commissioned production) the agency wanted him not to move too "cartoonish". They wanted this 'fat, human, bit unfunky' movements. 4 animators worked on this.

Thanks for your comments, and greetings from the whole Department,
Elm.
