Hey very nice, what's your settings like for Vray?

Hi Lil,
Here are my Vray settings for the second picture. For the first the bounces depth is 5.
Vray is a good GI renderer, and free for the moment.
It's the fastest (except Final render) I've ever seen. But the DOF is really long.

That character is wicked Krep. I love it. Hard to tell those are teeth in the second shot. Need to be defined more, maybe. I would love to animate this guy. Great work Krep. :p

Hu ! I'm glad you liked him so much ! And happy !

I try to answer the questions :

Lil : Yes I used one light to get shadow casting, with a Vray area shadows.
For comparison, in my post for the Pascal Challenge, I used to lights. Only one cast shadows, but this time I used standard shadow map, because Vray shadow need a lot of sample (and a long long rendering time) to get all the details.

Adr : No, I've not yet animated him, because of a lot of work and I spend all my time on the Pascal Challenge.
