id expect the head to be concaved into the tree stump, instead of extruded out. but nice idea.

the neck seems a bit skinny to me. But other than that nice job.

I can't really tell whats going on with the shoes. he's wearing ankle wraps and big square horse shoes? looks heavy, even fer a tree. the flat top looks kinda bland to me, maybe it could look chopped off, or broken. maybe beaver damage? fer some reason i think a hat would add alot to the character face...just my thoughts, the textures look like a good start/ althoguh i can't read the sign

Yup it reads "keep off the grass"
Its actually meant to be metal 'clamps' which his feet fit into, if I was to redo it I would either get rid of that idea or add clamps to his arms and maybe head to make it more balanced in terms of design.

Hehe .. simple, but it has a banjo kazooie feel to it that is endearing.
