View Full Version : Texture-artists and uvwmappers wanted

Hello, I'm Milas, Afterburner's my nick and i m a texturer/uvw-mapper/modeller.
Me and the other guys on the Navy Seals: Preemptive Operations team, are making a modification for the game 'Far Cry'.
While the sdk of the game (source to build a modification on) is about to be released, we are looking for / in need of, talented texturerers/skinners and UVW-mappers/meshers.
If you could do both, that would be a big pre, but its not a 'must'.

So what will you be doing and what will be the requirements ?

on our mod-team you will be creating (realistic) skins/textures for lowpoly (between 2000-4000 tri-polygons) weapon-/vehicle-/worldmodels, the size of the texturemaps you will be using is 2048x2048 pixels for weapons and vehicles and smaller sizer for worldobjects.

- you to either have some experience in mod-making, or you have to be able to show use that you capable of creating quality skins and/or uvwmaps.
- you have be abled to create skins/texture from scratch, so no so-called 'photoskinning'. you can offcourse use/get photos as reference.
- you have to be able to work a couple of hours a week and it is be important that will be active. so that means you check our forums/website regularly and communicat with other team-members, to exchange information and critics.
