View Full Version : Possible?:Maya information to Auto CAD

Hi people, newbie here.

This must be a strange question! but here it goes!

Does anyone know if it's even possible to transfer maya data

onto the Auto CAD program? So real life molds can be made?

Any experiences on this?

Partick,

I think you may be able to export your objects as DXF and import them into AutoCad. I've had folks send me DXF files from AC and imported them succesfully into Maya. Only problem is that the scale is way different and may be so large that it seems no info came across. Just check your hypergraph and see if it worked.
