hi!

i would like to have comments on how to proceed with this one. im modeling without reference this time because i want to check my abilities to do so. now, as you see it really doesnt look right, and i cant put my finger on it myself because i feel that its quite ok in the perspective view.

it would be GREAT if someone could draw on the images (like you sometimes do) and give me advice and opinions.

also, if you happen to know a really good tutorial on edge loops it would be great.

i work with maya and use polygons.

i think you should round the nose off a bit in the side view

I would avoid having a pole on the top of the head...but since it will be covered with hair it should be okay. Also, try smoothing out the region above the bridge of the nose. She should be in a relaxed position. The way you have it now makes her look old. You're using edge loops so you should try and even the spacing of your quads.

you'll have problems with the top of the head if you end the loops like that.

From the side she has that kind of "silly vulture" look. Like she should have a big adams apple. Maybe soften her nose and bring her lower jaw out a little.

The neck's muscles seem to be too defined. Especially in the side view they don't look correct.

the loops round the eyes seem a bit weird she has no bone under her eye brow.

slightly widen her nose between the eyes, the piece between the top lip and nose is a bit large, as other said the top of her head is way to big.

is she going to have hair cause you can cover up the dodgy top of her head.
