Hello, i have had my Wacom 4x5 graphire3 for about a week now, and i did a dialy sketch in the "daily sketch forum" section of a Robot for the "robot overlords" subject

for some reason iv gained a liking of this simple char i drew, and i started 2 do a 550x1024 picture of a closer look at the upper body and head area of this robot, just thought i could get some Cunstructive critisisim on this, vary new 2 photoshop and my wacom so plz crit, dont mind harsh ones either

i have ben doin him in just a grey tone but later i want 2 mybe have some lighting effts of blue.... well enough typing here it is

No crits. I liked this when I saw it as a Daily Sketch especially since your robot looks functional -- joints in all the right places and not overcomplicated. Wondered about the ball of fire he's conjuring for the person. Is there a story there? I really like the eyes for your large model -- they make him look both intelligent and curious. Nice shading and like the rivets. Can't wait to see this develop.

wow no crit =D, yea but ther is no story 2 this and the ball is i quess just some energy of gas liquid thats being made 2 destroy possibly the last human?

duno it was robot overlords so i was thinking of a robot killer i quess

thx for the reply today ill be mybe finishing it or geting really far in it

The only thing that really bothers me is the *Beep* in the corner. I like the closeups, those are nice. More details in the eyes would really give him more character.

Ooo, I like the design. The robot seems rather sympathetic. Is he suppose to be evil?

The eyes kinda look "photoshopped in"... like it doesn't look like it's part of the robot? Perhaps you want to try making it sunken in, at first I assumed that's what you would have done from your concept sketch.
