Hey, im 15 years old, and ive been doing digital painting for only about a year now and I thought it would be good to get practice at doing a girl, I might later take this onto 3d too. I use a wacom tablet 9x12 and painter 8. Btw im not too good with anatomy, and if you have any corrections that you can point out that would be great.
C&C welcome!

update #3:

I dont think im going to keep the beast on her arm lol because it adds that manga/beast thing to the image which i really dont want to show. But well see, just post what you think about it.

I'd make the neck a bit thicker. The waist seems too bee a bit long. It'd look better if you shorten it and add that length to the

leg / legs. You should think about repainting the armpit

This is what I'd fix up. Sorry if it's a side shot ca't tell. If so than you'd probably have to move the breast in closer to the body.

Stil not sure about the leg length though too tired to measure it out.

Think about adding the other arm maybe it could add to the dynamic feel of the pic

Cheers. Keep at it :)

Any comments? I dont know what anatomy on this is wrong but if anyone can correct it that could be cool.

The stomachs way too long. Find some ref pics on the internet. Photos can help heaps.

i think i'd resize the head a bit smaller, maybe it's just me but it seems slightly too big for the torso

At the angle she's drawn at, you should be able to see her right leg.

Also, her butt should be shortened. And, her breast should seamlessly continue to the arm like the reference from 3draven. In your latest pic her breast kinda leads to her back.

Just keep at it, and look at some muscle references... they'll do wonders.

Hi, I think you're painting yourself into a corner here -- I don't think you're going to nail it with this approach.

I think the best approach is to practice sketching (fast drawing) real figures, from life, from many different views, using real paper and some charcoal. If you're serious, ask your parents to enroll you in a life drawing class. Plan on going to art school? You will have a leg up on the competition.

You will learn more in your first life drawing session than you ever could by overworking one piece.
