and a black & white one:

I know that the doorhandle looks a bit off...I will change that soon, but I don't really feel like modelling a doorhandle...:p

Tell me what you think....

Excellent model and rendering!

If you really would like some crits, check your height on kitchen bench compared to table. Maybe too much reflection in the window-post in the kitchen render.

Wish I can get this good :applause:

Your lighting rocks. But IMO some of your camera angles need to be tweaked. I think its the use of small angle lens giving the shot some very distorted perspective and using normal camera positions. If the camera locations and angles were as extreme as the camera lens size I think it would work better. But overall nice job!

Thx guys...

I really appreciate it..

dra(hen: maybe i will try some more extreme camera positions...
thx for the tip...

wow, that is awsome my friend. i do that kind of rendering for the architectural company i work for. ha i say "that kind" i wish i did that kind of renderings. seems they dont like to give me a lot of time to let it render. how long did the render take?

veryferry
06-19-2004, 07:17 AM
uhm...the original resolution is 3500 x 2092 or something...and the renders take about 8/ 10 hours or so....but I have to do a lot in PS as the renders itself don't look good at al...here is a render without being shopped first:

Thx you all for your kind words...

the rendering is nice, the chair with the gray texture, the texture seems a little large, and in the kitchen the counter seems very low, in fact everything seems very low, is this a modern hobbit home? anyways those are my crits good stuff

EF

well...he ain't getting them :p
hehe...

sorry IAM4, but if that's indeed what you're after, I have to dissapoint you..
and as for e-mailing, why?..with al respect...but I don't understand a word you are saying, so I don't see the meaning of it.
sorry dude...good luck at your university.

dooom: I agree about that texture, and the lowness of the kitchen, but sometimes we have to scale some things just to make the room look bigger.

I will change it at home...

BTW...the rest is all original size...only the kitchen is lower than normal...

thx for the replies...keep 'em coming

I think that this is very good interior. Really good work.

And I have a question: What someone should do to get into the Cg choice Gallery and is that work good enough to enter there ?

Hey man, first off, congrats, those are awesome renders. I like the later ones best, where you can see there is a world outside, but all of them are just really top notch and well done.

I was wondering if you could offer any tips on lighting. I've been trying to figure it out for a while now, and I really just can't get interior lighting done very well. If you know of any good tutorials on it, or just have any advice to offer, it'd be much appreciated. Thanks, great work.

donīt know if itīs been said but the FOV its too extreme for a render/view like that. set it down a bit. it looks really unnatural in cause of the FOV. otherwise nice stuff.

thx man...I use Vray and that is pretty easy with lighting for interior, I only use one target direct with a vray shadow...with the good settings and some post-work you should get nice results.

go to http://www.cgarchitect.com/ for tutorials....there are a lot about lighting.

r3studios: what is FOV?
