the microscope looks really good but the box behind doesn't do it justice IMO. I think you need a bit more contraste in your render but that would be easy to fix in pshop with levels/curves.

keep it up

I would be happy to see the wireframe - if possible.

It must be a lot of work to do all the details!

Nice Microscope!

great microscope, and lighting and texturing.
I agree Meka
because the box has the only hot colors in the scene. microscope loses its dominancy because it is more or less clearer to background in terms of color. And I think it cannot be fixed with photoshop . Metarial of the box should be considered

Looks great, cept for that HIDIOUS tiling in the woodtexxture of the wooden box . . . get rid of that and ya got an ace still-life pic imo . . . i woulnd't mind seeing some extra rubble on that table too tho ;)

I think it's a problem of composition.
The box is too "obvious" placed behind the micro scope. Especially with the light colors. Try to blend out the background with more, less obvious objects using the same color tone, then use a little bit of DOF blurring.
The microscope modeling is amazing, just needs composition work on the whole image :)
