View Full Version : Error: Unknown Workspace... wtf?

Um,

has anyone ever experienced the error: "Unknown Workspace"
when you try to import or open a scene or object?

It's only just happened recently and I've never had it before... any clues?

Has anyone even seen this before?

The "workspace" in Maya is also the "project". Make sure you have your project set. If that fails, check the mel docs on "workspace":
(c:\AW\Maya4.0\docs\en_US\html\Commands\workspace.html probably if you're on W2K)

I actually managed to figure that out about 5mins after I sent this post :)

My Project was still set to a drive which had been temporarily disconnected which I had been working on earlier in the day.

Stupid huh?


Oh well, thanx for the info.
