I want to edit a certain frame or frames to look a certain

way but everytime I change the the color it changes the color for the whole movie, not just that one frame

and

how do you do a playback?

and I want to highlight just a certain location on the frame so I can do color correction

how do I do that?

1. If you want to have a certain look on a certain frame you have to animate the attributes so they only occur on that frame or open the footage on this frame as single frame and composit it over the normal footage on that time.

2. Playback is >. Keep in mind that the right Operator is selected or you won't see the changes.

3. Try using masks.

4. Read the manual or go through the tutorials on the cd. There are also tutorials available on the net e.g. http://www.creativecow.net

Lord3d2,
You should look into the selection operators. I do not have combustion on the computer I am currenntly using, but I think that a choice use of a selection operator you will give the intended resuls.

You can also split (Ctrl+Shift+D) a portion of your layer into a new layer and apply an operator just to that part (layer).

See ya,

Just found that on the forums

Take a look at http://www.jamination.com/combustiondev.htm and install janimoffset.
You can offset and loop frames of your source with that one.
Pretty handy.
