Hi all,
I can't seem to create poses with my Maya 6.... I have a character that has two subchars: body and legs. I want to save a pose, where they are both in the standing position. So I go to the frame, where my char is standing, I select the body subchar and Create->Pose. Then I select the legs subchar and Create->Pose again. Then I get the problem: the Visor only shows the first pose that I've created! I don't know why this happens... I have no idea how to see the two newly created poses. I never ever managed to see more than one pose in the Visor's Char Poses tab (or the Unused Poses tab).
Anyone?

Well, I finally found what I'm doing wrong... apparently, when you want to CREATE a pose, it's enough to select the char/subchar you want to create the pose for. But in order to VIEW the poses that were created, it's not enough to select the relevant character... you have to set it as the CURRENT CHAR. Only then will the Visor show me the poses for that character.. A bit confusing, but that's the way it is I guess...

Hi, sagmam,
I hade the same problem, that I couldn`t make more than one char pose for the Char set, that is most above of all subcharacters. Maya always keeps the same pose, only renames the same node. So I later found that the character set needs to have at least one attribute inside of the set. It can be some dummy attribute, just to keep the char set busy.
This took a while to discover, therefore I want to share this with others :)
