Hi All,

I am trying to setup a scenario where i have a mars rover doing its thing on the surface of the moon...

I have made the surface (simple poly plane) a passive rigid body ...i have made a wheel of the rover an active rigid body and given it a gravity field...my problem is that the wheel penetrates that surface of the plane and only stops when it hits the Zero plane (translate y of zero) ...its simply does not get affected by the poly plane ...

What have i done wrong ??

Cheers

Paul

That's really weird!

My first suggestion would be to open up the Dynamic Relationship Editor:

Window > Relationship Editors > Dynamic yadda blah..

Select the wheel in the left column and then under Collisions, see if the Mars plane is highlight, if not, click on it to select it.

when i click on the wheel...only 'fields' is an option ...doesnt seem to be a collisions option enables to filter with ? ...

BTW ...i dont know if you got the email that i sent ya, but we are moving servers...so jozvex.com may have a tinsey bit of down time ...so if it happens...you know why ...it'll only be very short...hopefully not even at all ...

anyways...back to collission trouble... ;)

cheers

paul
