I am building a male and female character, but they are basically the same (think Micky and Minnie). I've modeled all the blend shape facial expressions for the male character and it was a lot of work. Using the male base model, I can easily convert him to a female, add a bow, high heels, etc. However, I don't want to have to go and do that for all the blend targets. Is there anyway I can model on my base and have it also change the blend targets?

If anyone has any ideas, or a better approach I would appreciate it.

Thanks

if you create your female out of the same geometry as your male..

just apply the female shape AND the expressions to the male shape.
then dial up "female" and "anger", duplicate the head, you have angry female... just do that for all your shapes..
