I just watched GMK:Godzilla, Mothra King Gidorah; All Out Monster Attack last night.

Just awesome. You just can't fit any more destruction, collateral damage and fun into one movie. Kick ass. They even claim that the monster that attacked NY in 1998 "wasn't Godzilla". Ain't that the truth.

Can't wait for Final Wars. Though that trailer on the web site reminded me of the Asses of Fire 2 trailer. What a rip off.

wow, a 50th anniversary sequel, this should be big. And that tag line, "Goodbye Godzilla," pretty intriguing. I wonder what they have up their sleeves. . . . We were considering getting plane tickets back to Japan for New Year holidays, I think this pretty much decides it. . . .

No more Godzilla movies. What a shame. Here's hoping he goes with a level of damage and firepower not seen since...well, ever.
I think they shot a bit of it here in Australia, actually :)

I'm sure Godzilla will be back. They did a similar thing with "Godzilla vs Destroyer" back in '95 where they were playing up Godzilla's "death" at the end of the film. Should be plenty of fireworks though regardless. . .:bounce:

it's sort of interesting, the director of the new film mentions that they purposefully tried to use as little CG as possible with this film since he sees these kinds of live action effects films as a sort of specialty of Japanese film-making.

should be awesome; each explosion lovingly handcrafted in the old world style. . .
