View Full Version : HELP needed on texturing character for animation

hi everyone out there!
i'm new to 3dsmax and 3d modelling... currently working on my first project for school...
i modelled a character for animation... did a short animation sequence to it...

then i applied the uvw mapping to it... and to my horror... it turned out like the one below...

think i might have made a mistake somewhere...
could anyone pls enlighten me?

Just make sure the animation is applied to the modifier stack above the UVW coordinates. Looks like you're animating below them. A common method to avoid this is to collapse the modifier stack before animating.

thanks for the help!! actually i sort of figured it out later... when i was doing my archer character... but anyway, thanks for the advice!
