Here is my character for my student demo reel. It is based off the lord of darkness action figure. I've made a lot of changes to the character in contrast with the toy just to make him more functional and realistic. I know that this character's anatomy isn't 100 percent true to the books but pardon his fanciful musculature, it is just the way he is.

Please don't spare me with your critics, all is welcome.

i like the model overall. The topolgy seems either overused or underused. It doesn't seem as though the elasticity of the skin is correct. It has a hard feel like plastic instead of soft skin. Possibly move the edges near the creases in the muscle closer together.

I didn't really spend enough time cleaning up the lines because the deadline for my submission was running tight on me at that time. You're right about that, and I think the plastic look you are talking about is only because I approximated this guy too much. It will look more like skin when I texture and light this guy properly, right now all he has is a phong shader with high specularity which is enhancing that feeling of plastic. thanks.

Wohh! Big horns! ^_^
I think the eyes aren't evil enough, yet.
The connection of fingernails and fingers look a bit off, too.
And perhaps you could improove the picture if you open his mouth and show some teeth

great replication. what was the name ogf that tom cruise flick agian? I dont know, any ways i can remember this character somewhat and it pretty much is an exact replica. I would love to see it textured and all, oh and dont forget the eyes.

I'd love to post this up when I get the textures going. I will have face shapes with this character too. This is just his default face right now, but he will be in a killer expression. Then the teeth and eyes will follow. Oh yeah, about the cape not attaching with the wrist bands yet, I will finish that when I finish my textures. Still a lot to go, even more detail to finish with the geo.

The movie this character is from is Ridley Scott's 1984 movie "Legend". Bad movie, great design work!
