View Full Version : One UV set for several mesh ?
Nicool 06-05-2004, 11:29 AM Hye,
Is that possible to have two poly meshes sharing one UV set? I am texturing a low poly tank and I want the tank "tower" and the tank "body" to share the same map.

Combine them, uv map the object, make sure they are linked to the same uv set, seperate them. Voila :)
Then if you want the full uvmap, just select all the objects and they all share pieces on the same uvmap. Take Uv snapshot when all the objects are selected.

Thx Monkey
Don't you know another method? I saw a lot of option relative to UV sets ...
I though about sharing UV set as if an UV set was a node  (

I finally find a solution : I selected my to mesh pieces and I rename the current UV set (Texture window Polygons>Rename current Uv set...)
