View Full Version : Deleting history pieces

I have 2 poly meshes I combined together. Each mesh has a blend shape on it. After they were combined the blends still work but they are very slow. Is there any way to delete particular pieces of the history, like the polyunite and polymerge pieces to speed up the mesh?

Why not just delete the blendShaped object (not the Node!) if no more editing is necessary?

Will give a minor speed boost if the meshes were large :)

Set the target one weight`s to 1 for your first blendShape, dupplicate the object, this is your first shape, repeat the operation for all the targets and for all the blendshape nodes, then delete the history for your object, and create a new blendShape with all the newly regenerated shapes from the previous steps... Now you have a new object without the combined history...
