i LOVE the jade one, but i don't like the stone one... the material just isn't as good.... but this reminds my of some of the Jade stuff I saw when I visited Hong Kong last month.

i thing the stone one could use some color variations. maybe some green and ocre.

stone is not all gray. maybe it wold look good
try the blamoral texture in stones. look at the benediti also!

the jade one looks inpressive. final render helps, but it look good any way. that's what metters, right?

I like the stone one more, it has more detail with the bumps and all. Add a temple to it! :D
The jade one would look more believable when you'd remove the pedestale.

well, when i was looking at the jade sculptures in Hong Kong, they all have wooden pedastals!

Jade is also semi-transparent in light.
