Hey guys , It's my first post in cgtalk :P
I'm trying to use some text editor to edit my expressions instead of expression editor under the Linux platform. When I change my external editor to vim or sth. It does popup and tell me I'm currently editing sth. like /tmp/nurbsSphere1.tx . But after I edit , save that file and quit, nothing happen to my scene in maya.....
Everything runs smoothly under Win2K when I did the same thing.
Any solutions? Thanks :D
