hey all, this is my first post here. im really impressed with all of your work! i hope to be as good one day.

in my work with maya i have encountered a weird problem, i have a human figure in half, i am about to duplicate it and put it together.

the strange thing is, when i look through the uv texture editor i get this view:

everything looks normal in the perspective view. does anyone know what would cause this? and how to fix it?

any help would be great,

thanks again,

sedric

You will get many more responses to your queries if you have a more descriptive post subject. The more specific, the better.

Many people skip reading every post and just go for subjects that catch their eye.

As far as your question, I'm new to UV editing in Maya. I've got some questions in that area as well.

for me it just looks like you have one UV Point that you didn't layout- you can select it and move it to it's position in the UV Editor. (probably you haven't select the corresponding Vertex as you did your UV Texturing.
